Earlier this month, we donned our jigging shoes once again and headed to Kent for the CRDM UK Regional Feis 2019. This competition was extra special for our Academy as we had lots of new little beginners taking to the stage for the very first time. Our little jiggers had all worked very hard and were incredibly exctied to be taking part in their first competitions. There were of course some nerves along the way, but all of them did us proud by getting up on stage and remembering their steps (well, mostly remembering them! LOL).
When it was time for the results, they showed true team spirit and supported each other beautifully by sitting together and cheering each other on. The judges were clearly as impressed as we were as all our first time dancers came home with medals and trophies, leaving some big shoes to fill for more advanced dancers later that day.
When it was time for our intermedaite and open dancers to flag the Ellis-Parr flag, they did so with style and grace as always. They put on a wonderful display of dancing and results they got showed that their hard work is truly paying off.
Congratulations to all our dancers that took part in this competition - you were all brilliant!
Thank you to CRDM UK for a wonderful day of dancing and fun. We are now going to get back to class and start the count down to the next Feis, London Championships 2019, here we come!
